Hydraulic offset mowing for 35-60 HP tractors

Shift the head left or right from the seat and reach into hedge lines, fence runs and tree bases without repositioning the tractor. The Winton W‑HF200 gives smallholders and estate managers a 2m cut on a compact tractor, with heavier hammer flails for tougher overgrowth.

DescriptionWhy buy the Winton W‑HF200 Flail Mower?

The hydraulic offset is the point of the W-HF200. One double-acting spool slides the A-frame sideways from the seat, so the 2m head reaches up to hedgerows, fence wire and the awkward ground around tree bases while the tractor stays on cleaner footing. At 200 cm it sits as the second-widest in the W-HF hydraulic-offset family — a genuine step up in coverage from the narrower siblings.

Built for verge and hedge-line work

32 hammer blades sit in a spiral pattern on the cylindrical rotor. The spiral feeds the cut evenly rather than slamming the whole row into the grass at once, which is why a flail rides uneven ground better than a topper or a rotary. Heavier flail spec means it bites into rank weed and overgrown grass; run it regularly on shorter swards and the same blades leave a fine finish on paddocks and lawns.

Height control on uneven ground

Cutting height runs 3–8 cm. The rear roller adjusts up and down against the top link to set the finish, and twin height-adjustable skids carry the body so the rotor doesn't scalp when the ground rolls under it. Power comes off the PTO through 4 drive belts to the rotor shaft.

Tractor fit

Cat 1 three-point linkage with a 77–92 cm lower linkage width and 451 kg hanging weight — sized for the 35–60 HP compact tractor bracket, not below and not above.

I have used Flail Mower all through this summer to take care of 4 acres of grass. Really pleased with the mower. It leaves a nice clean cut that’s close to ground. Been reliable and also well built. The side shift feature is really good for getting close to edge of field, my last mower didn’t have this feature. I would give it 5 out of 5.

Flail mower

I purchased a 2m wide Winton flail mower. I paid slightly more than other competitors, but they could get it to me on particular days as requested. Annie kept me updated on progress and I got it when required. The equipment is of good quality with a quality pto. Overall happy and would consider purchasing again from Zaros!
