DescriptionWhy buy the Winton W‑HF125 Flail Mower?
The W-HF125 is the smallest mower in Winton's hydraulic offset flail range. At 1.25m it suits smaller compact tractors from 20 HP, where the wider siblings would be too much machine. The hydraulic A-frame slides the deck sideways on the move — handy when you're working tight to hedges, posts or trees.
Built for awkward edges
One double-acting spool drives the side-shift through two hoses, so you offset the cut without leaving the seat or repositioning the tractor. That's the difference between trimming neatly along a fence line and getting off every twenty metres to reset.
Tough weeds, tidy grass
20 hammer-style blades run on a spiral-pattern rotor, powered by PTO through 3 drive belts to the rotor shaft. The mower bites into overgrown weeds and rank grass, but drop the height for regular paddock or orchard work and it leaves a fine finish. Cutting height adjusts from 3–8 cm via the rear roller and twin height-adjustable skids, which also keep the blades off the deck on uneven ground.
Fitment
Three-point Cat 1 hitch with a 77–92 cm lower linkage width. Check your tractor sits inside the 20–40 HP band and has a spare double-acting spool before ordering.

Review Your Winton W‑HF125
I am very pleased with the machine which exceeded my expectations. I would certainly recommend it.
I’ve found the winton flail mower an excellent piece of equipment
I’ve found the winton flail mower an excellent piece of equipment , strong and very built.
Great Flail mower . The process of purchase was so easy. After a quick shortening of the pto shaft we were ready to go. It tackles anything and the shift is especially helpful for under trees and hedges
I have used Flail Mower all through this summer to take care of 4 acres of grass. Really pleased with the mower. It leaves a nice clean cut that’s close to ground. Been reliable and also well built. The side shift feature is really good for getting close to edge of field, my last mower didn’t have this feature. I would give it 5 out of 5.
