The Chapman 1.8m Heavy Duty Compact PTO Flail Mower - CFM180 is Heavy Duty in construction and built for work. Suitable for use on compact tractors from 25- 70hp and designed for cutting dense vegetation & overgrowth. Hydraulic side-shift features as standard, perfect for working around trees and other obstructions with ease.

HEAVY DUTY & DEPENDABLE
The Chapman Compact Flail Mower series are equipped with reliable, high quality Italian gearboxes – perfect for tractors rated from 25-70hp.

The CFM has working widths and a hydraulic side-shift function of up to 350mm, perfect for working around trees and other obstructions with ease.

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS
The CFM utilises 28 large heavy duty forged flail hammers that ensure great results on rushes, brambles and other hardy vegetation.

Triple B Belts are utilised for maximum reliability and increased power transfer. A rear roller is included to prevent the mower from digging into the ground on undulating surface.

UNIQUE ROTOR DESIGN
Our innovative rotor design incorporates a solid 45mm diameter drive shaft right through the centre of the rotor with a structural grade 115mm diameter outer tube, onto which the flail lugs are welded in a spiral pattern.

This unique design transfers cutting power more efficiently from the engine to the cutting heads, giving a cleaner cut and better performance in tough situations. Furthermore the rotor incorporates double row spherical roller bearings for ultimate reliability.

The CFM Compact Flail Mower features heavy duty all steel construction and a powder coated finish for long working life.
