DescriptionWhy buy the Winton W‑FA105 Flail Mower?

If your sub-compact sits at the upper end of 15–25 HP and the narrower W-FA feels slow across a paddock, the W-FA105 is the same machine with more bite per pass. Cat 1 linkage, 130 kg on the back end, and a cut narrow enough to still slip between fruit trees.

Why the 1.05m width matters

The extra width sounds modest until you're walking a five-acre paddock. The W-FA105 clears noticeably more ground per lap while staying inside the footprint a sub-compact can actually carry and power. Step up to a wider flail and you're shopping for a bigger tractor too.

Built for paddock and orchard work

36 Y-blades sit in a spiral pattern on a cylindrical rotor. They chop overgrown grass and weeds finer than a topper would, and the flail action copes with uneven ground that makes a rigid rotary scalp. Belt-driven from the PTO.

  • 1.05m working width — wider pass than the narrower W-FA sibling, still narrow enough for tree rows
  • 15–25 HP tractor range, Cat 1 linkage — sized for sub-compacts that normally can't run a flail
  • 36 Y-blades on a spiral rotor — finer chop on overgrown paddock than a topper delivers
  • 3–8 cm cutting height set by two adjustable skids
  • Adjustable rear roller — pair it with the top link to tune angle and avoid scalping on rough ground
  • Lower linkage width 45–70 cm, 130 kg, 70 × 120 × 70 cm
  • Belt-driven rotor shaft, PTO powered

Review Your Winton W‑FA105

Great service from Tractor Armoury and a great product from Winton. I initially I ordered the 0.8 m flail but as it wasn't in stock I was upgraded to the next one up which was a pleasant surprise. My 15 hp Iseki manages it well and the flail mower has been put through it's paces on our small holding . Thanks Again for a seamless service.

The purchase process went very smoothly…

The purchase process went very smoothly and the item was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I had a query re the serial number plate on the machine so emailed Zaros for clarification. They responded very promptly and the matter was cleared up satisfactorily. The machine supplied by Zaros, a flail mower, works completely as expected and can cut down a field of grass grown to 2-3 feet high without difficulty.

I coupled this mower to a 20hp compact tractor and used it to cut an overgrown paddock. In mid-June grass was standing 4 to 5 feet high. Using a low tractor gear the mower cut the grass down with ease and mulched the swath which should help the residue to disperse. The mower is well made and I am very happy with it.

Your customer service is better than excellent I must say very impressed. I wish Sky TV was as good, they could learn something from you that's for sure.
