Winton WLM230 2.3m Heavy-Duty Flail Mower

The Winton 2.3 m Heavy-Duty Flail Mower (WLM230) is a tough, reliable mower designed for reclaiming overgrown ground. Equipped with heavier hammer flails, it handles demanding vegetation—right up to saplings of around 6 cm in diameter. Once growth is under control, it also delivers a clean, fine finish suitable for lawns and sports pitches.

A series of heavy hammer blades are arranged in a spiral on the cylindrical rotor for efficient cutting and finer mulch. This layout, combined with the flail design, copes far better with uneven terrain than conventional rotary or topper mowers. Drive is via four belts to the blade rotor shaft for smooth, dependable power transfer.

An adjustable rear roller works with the tractor’s top link to set cutting height from approximately 4.5 cm to 13.5 cm and helps prevent scalping on undulating ground.
