FPM BLM150 1.5m Light-Weight Verge Flail Mower

The FPM 1.5 m Light-Weight Verge Flail Mower is built for overgrown areas and fine finishing alike. It hydraulically offsets to the left and tilts to reach awkward areas, requiring two double-acting spools (four hoses) to control horizontal shift and head tilt. This verge flail can run horizontal to work up to and around trees; tilt up or down for banks, verges and ditches; or set it vertical for trimming the sides of lower hedges.

With a heavy-duty gearbox and hammer flails, the mower handles tough grass and weeds, yet with regular use, it leaves a clean, fine finish. The flails are mounted in a spiral pattern on the rotor for efficient cutting and finer clippings, performing better on uneven ground than conventional rotary or topper mowers. Drive is via three belts to the rotor shaft.

Cut quality and height are easy to dial in: an adjustable rear roller and two height-adjustable skids help prevent scalping and keep the finish even, with the tractor’s top link used to fine-tune the result.

Fits the three-point linkage of most small and compact tractors.
