Winton 9" Post Hole Borer WHB09

The WHB09 sits in the middle of Winton's three-auger range. The 6-inch handles tree whips and light posts; the 12-inch swallows heavy strainers. This 9-inch is where most paddock fencing actually lands — standard timber strainers, stock-fence posts, gate hangers — and it suits the 20–50 HP tractors smallholders and estate managers tend to run.

Sinking posts around a paddock

A 23 cm bore drops a clean hole for a standard strainer or stock-fence post. Backfill packs tight, and the post stays plumb under wire tension. At 90 cm deep you clear the frost line and get enough buried length for sheep and cattle fencing to hold its line.

One PTO, no extra kit

The borer runs off the tractor's PTO. Auger, gearbox and PTO shaft come in the box, so the WHB09 hitches up and works on the tractor you already have — no separate power pack, no hydraulic top-up.
