FTS 1.05m Tractor Rotary Tiller S‑FTL105

If you're running one of the lightest compact tractors on the yard, the FTS S-FTL105 is the rotary tiller to pair it with. At 1.05m it's the smallest of three FTS siblings, asking only 15-22 HP at the PTO. It's aimed squarely at vegetable gardens, allotments and small estate plots where a wider tiller simply won't fit or won't pull.

Cultivating compacted ground

20 left and right-hand blades mount to the rotor cylinder and chew through compacted soil as the machine works. On harder ground, raise the side skids and take a shallow first pass, then drop deeper on the second — the supplier's own advice, and it holds. A bit of rainfall beforehand helps; heavy clay or sodden ground will clog, so let plots dry out first.

Depth and finish control

Both side skids are height-adjustable for a working depth up to 9 cm. The rear flap sets the finish behind the rotor — drop it for a smoother, more level seedbed. Run the PTO at 540rpm, lower into the soil at low forward speed, and let the machine settle into the cut.
