DescriptionWhy buy the Winton W-FR06 Field Roller?

The W-FR06 sits in the middle of the Winton roller range for a reason. At 1.82m it rolls estate paddocks, sand schools and sports pitches in noticeably fewer passes than a 5 ft, yet it stays manageable behind a compact tractor where a 7 ft would be heavy work through gateways.

Ballast you actually control

Empty, the drum weighs 245 kg — enough to firm reseeded ground without smearing it. Fill the 390 L drum through the side bung and the roller climbs to 610 kg laden, pressing out hoof divots, mole hills and tine marks after topping or harrowing. In winter, mix Winton Frost Blocker with the water (3:7 ratio) to stop the drum freezing.

Built to be looked after

British designed and manufactured. The bearings are greasable and the scraper is adjustable, so the drum stays clean on wet clay and the service points are where the operator can reach them. Pin hitch as standard fits most compact tractor draw bars; a tow ball upgrade is available for ATV quads and 4x4s.

  • Working width 1.82m — covers estate-scale paddocks faster than the 5 ft sibling
  • 245 kg empty / 610 kg laden — dial the pressure to the ground
  • 390 L drum capacity filled via side bung
  • Pin hitch fitted as standard; optional tow ball upgrade for ATV/4x4 use
  • Greasable bearings keep maintenance straightforward
  • Adjustable scraper clears the drum in wet conditions
  • Frost Blocker compatible for winter storage with water in the drum
  • British designed and manufactured

Just the job for towing behind our UTV. I used it this evening and it worked a treat.
