Built for bigger paddocks
The 1.8m working width covers ground quickly, and the 30–60 HP tractor range sets the floor — this one needs more pull than its smaller siblings. At 385 kg it's a heavier machine, so check your hitch and unloading arrangements before it lands.
Topping action and cut
2 blades on a direct-drive carrier give the classic rotary topping action, dropping cuttings in windrows along the skids. Direct drive draws less power than belt-driven decks. Cutting height runs from 5 cm for a tidier finish up to 25 cm for rank growth, set by unbolting and repositioning the side skids.
Hitching up
Mounts to a Cat 1 three-point linkage with a lower linkage width of 45–70 cm. A shear-bolt PTO shaft is in the box, so driveline protection is sorted from day one.

I'm very pleased with my topper, it's had to work extremely hard, and has faired better than my tractor which now has a hole in the radiator. The only downside was I had to get the PTO shaft shortened to fit my little grey Fergie. Well worth the money.
The topper has been a huge success. I have a small compact tractor that I hook the topper to, to cut long grass. It cuts grass that is at least 50cms high. It's reasonable light but importantly, heavy enough to not be raised off the ground by the long grass. The tractor uses less fuel and it is way quicker than the flail mower I previously had. Quality wise...it is perfect quality, robust and the blades are heavy duty and can be easily sharpened with an angle grinder. On the lowest cutting height it cuts low enough for a smart path through long grass. It cuts rushes with no drop in rpm. Raising it on the three point hitch when turning is easy. Very pleased with it. 5 stars!!!!
