Side-arm hedge and verge trimming for 25-45 HP compacts

Reach 330 cm up and drop 200 cm down with a narrow 80 cm side-arm cutter. The Winton W‑AM080 runs a PTO-driven hydraulic pump that drives the head independently of the tractor's own hydraulics - built for smallholders and estate hands on a compact tractor.

DescriptionWhy buy the Winton W‑AM080 Hedge Cutter?

When the tractor is too small to swing a 1m head, or the gateways and lanes are too tight for one, the W-AM080 is the W-AM sibling to pick. The 80 cm cutting head carries 32 Y-style flails and rides on a fully adjustable side arm, so you can trim hedges, ditch banks and roadside verges from the seat.

Reach from one setup

The arm covers 330 cm vertical, 310 cm diagonal and 275 cm horizontal reach, and drops 200 cm below the linkage line for ditch bottoms and embankments. The cutting head angle adjusts through the working arc, and rotor direction reverses between clockwise and anti-clockwise so you can work either side of the verge and change the cut to suit the growth.

Independent hydraulics

A PTO-driven hydraulic pump powers the arm and head, so the cutter doesn't lean on the tractor's own hydraulics. That matters on older or low-spec compacts where the onboard system isn't up to running a side-arm. Lever controls sit in a single block that mounts wherever suits the cab.

Sized for the compact bracket

At 275 kg on Cat 1 three-point linkage, it's matched to tractors in the 25–45 HP range — small enough to live on a smallholding tractor, not a full ag machine.

  • 80 cm working width with 32 Y-style flails — fits gateways and lanes a 1m head won't
  • 25–45 HP tractor range, 275 kg implement weight
  • PTO-driven hydraulic pump, independent of tractor hydraulics
  • Reach: 330 cm vertical, 310 cm diagonal, 275 cm horizontal, 200 cm downwards
  • Reversible rotor direction — clockwise or anti-clockwise cut
  • Fully adjustable arm with angled cutting head
  • Adjustable rear roller sets cut height and finish on top-cuts
  • Lever control block mounts in the cab where it suits you
