Tractor Attachments for Ford
Discover attachments for Ford Tractors
The first Ford tractor was introduced in 1917, known as the Fordson Model N, which significantly contributed to British agriculture up till 1945. Post-World War II, the Ford Major was launched, notable for being the first to factory-fit a diesel engine. Initially marketed under the Fordson name starting in 1917, the brand saw a notable shift with the introduction of the Ford 9N in 1939 in the US. The merging of the European Fordson and US Ford brands in 1964 marked the beginning of a unified global presence. Ford's expansion continued with the purchase of New Holland in 1985, forming the Ford-New Holland line. However, the brand's prominence in the agricultural machinery market ended when its farm equipment unit was sold to Fiat in 1990, leading to the gradual discontinuation of the Ford name in this sector.
