What is the lead time for the SCH SSR12?

The SSR12 is built to order. The sooner your order is placed, the sooner your order will be manufactured and delivered to you. If ordered today, it is estimated to be delivered to you in 2-3 weeks.

Do I require a forklift to offload the SCH SSR12?

No offloading required. The SSR12 will arrive on a specialist vehicle that the courier can offload from by themselves - this is included free of charge to mainland England and Wales. If you are in Scotland or on an island, please contact us for delivery details.

Does the SCH SSR12 require assembly?

The SSR12 will arrive assembled, oiled, greased and ready to use, and instructions will arrive with the machine.

Can I leave details for the courier?

There is a delivery notes field in the checkout where you can leave details - we can accommodate small vehicle requests, narrow roads, or safe places to leave an order if you're not home. The couriers are also instructed to call you 1 hour prior to arrival.

Used on a regular basis, this small 12" sorrel roller from SCH breaks up any crust that tends to form on the soil.

The small spikes penetrate the surface which allows the air, nutrients and especially water, to start their journey to the roots.

A small roller is attached to iron out any small bumps and to facilitate the transport from the shed to the lawn.

This roller is ideal for use on fine turf surfaces, cricket squares, tennis courts, bowling greens, etc.

Spikes can be replaced when worn.

I have found the sorrel roller to be of great build quality

I have found the sorrel roller to be of great build quality, the tines are substantial enough to withstand use and yet small enough to close up quickly. I've found it most useful just before seeding.

I’m happy to review our Sorrel Roller as follows: The SSR24 24” Sorel Roller is a quality well built machine. It’s weight takes some energy to push and therefore lends itself to shared operation across each length of a bowling green but the mass means that the tines penetrate deeply into the root system of the grass. The aeration of the green has had very beneficial results and our bowling members are pleased with the results so far. I would award the machine 5/5 for design, build quality and life expectancy.
