SCH PSU Professional Leaf Suction Unit

This large leaf suction unit from SCH has a big appetite to clear up large areas of fallen leaves. The PSU fan unit boasts a powerful 9hp Honda engine and is mounted on a two-wheel chassis with an integral tow bar complete with hand-held collection nozzle. The fan is belt driven and not fitted directly onto the crankshaft of the engine.

The preferred way of using this leaf suction unit is to attach it to the rear of the leaf collecting trailer. This trailer can be supplied with the trailer adaptation kit - it is up to you whether you modify your own trailer or we can arrange for SCH to collect and modify it for you.

The discharge hose is attached to the rear of the trailer allowing the user to set to sucking up fallen leaves fast. The hand-held suction hose has skid rails on the tube end for ease of operation. The large diameter suction hose reduces the risk of blockages. A combined team of the suction hose operator and a person driving the lawn tractor can clear along drives and road edges at very impressive speeds. The leaves passing through the fan are chopped up, greatly increasing the capacity of the trailer and reducing the amount of empties. Many operators use this equipment in conjunction with a hand-held blower to suck out leaves from flower beds before collecting them with the suction unit.

The SCH professional leaf suction unit is brilliant in places where conventional suction sweepers are unable to operate, such as under benches, around borders, along the edge of drives, etc.
