Winton 5ft Tractor / ATV Field Roller W-FR05

The Winton W-FR05 is the middle option in the Winton roller range. It covers more ground per pass than the 4 ft paddock roller, but at 210 kg empty it stays light enough to tow with an ATV when fitted with the optional ball hitch — something the 6 ft and 7 ft models can't do.

Ballast you can dial in

The drum holds 320 L of water, taking the roller from 210 kg empty to 515 kg laden. Fill via the side bung to match the pressure to the job — firmer for compacting reseeded ground, lighter for knocking down hoofprints and mole damage on softer paddocks. In winter, mix Winton Frost Blocker with the water (3:7) to stop the drum freezing.

Tractor or ATV

A pin hitch comes as standard and drops onto most compact tractor draw bars. Order the ball-hitch upgrade and the W-FR05 will run behind a quad or 4x4 instead — useful on equestrian properties where the ATV does most of the field work.
