DescriptionWhy buy the SCH HGHT Hollow-Tine Corer?

IMPORTANT: Picture for illustration purposes only. This attachment must be used in conjunction with the SCH 40" Heavy Duty Carrier Frame (Ref: HGF) which can be purchased separately.

This new hollow tine corer attachment has been added to the existing range of lawn care implements for the 1020mm (40") system. The HGHT, like the other attachments, fits easily into the carrier frame. The hollow, specially shaped tines plunge into the grass and remove a 'plug' of soil and turf. When the tine goes into the turf next time round it pushes out the previous core. The hollow tine corer leaves a neat round hole, to allow top dressing and fertiliser to easily reach the roots where they are most needed.

We strongly recommend the frame lifter (Ref HGL) is used with this attachment.

Great purchase, well recommended

The SCH HGL 40" heavy duty carrier frame lifter was a game changer. Made aerating alot easier. You can lift the whole unit up when transporting over tarmac or concrete, it also made turning easier, just lift the unit up, turn, then put it back down again without stopping. Great purchase, well recommended. 5 out ot 5?

I recommend the system

I use the roller behind a lawn tractor having already purchased the frame and harrow attachments. I like the roller attachment - it will be used soon as the winter turns to spring and I begin to think about preparing 1 acre of grass for the coming season. I recommend the system as it allows the use of different implements on the same frame. Being able to add weight is an advantage too.

The frame works well for the slicing and tining.

The frame works well for the slicing and tining. Beware the fulcrum point over the axle when the large water bottles are attached; a couple of times I have uncoupled the frame from the tractor before taking off the water bottles and the frame flips backwards with some force.
