Quad-X 130L True Grit Spreader

Quad-X have designed and developed the True Grit salt spreader range in response to the need for a small scale commercial machine popular with amenities, large companies, farms and hire companies.

This spreader is capable of spreading damp salt thanks to the feed mechanism continually pushing material forward, irrespective of moisture and consistency, all to help prevent clogging and facilitate an even spread of salt.

Spreading can be activated from inside your vehicle and spread width can be adjusted thanks to a user friendly control unit giving precise control during operation. True Grit spreaders are simple, reliable and effective, providing an affordable alternative to large scale belt drive machines.

The True Grit features the following:
• Adjustable Spinner Vanes enabling you to customise your spread pattern
• Adjustable Spread Patter – with an adjustable spinner position
• Specially designed blades – special ‘Z’ shaped blades for effective spread of materials such as salt and grit
• Agitator – effective agitator system to help prevent bridging in the hopper

The machine is available in various capacities and models:
• Towed – 130L, 250L or 400L
• Mounted – 130L, 250L, 400L or 600L

IMPORTANT: The mounted version can be placed on the back of a Utility Vehicle (UTV) or flatbed trailer.

IMPORTANT: Due to the size of this machine, unloading equipment may be required (eg. a forklift, telehandler, frontloader etc). Please contact us for alternative delivery arrangements if you do not have access to unloading facilities.
