FTS 1.2m ATV Flail Mower S‑AFL120

The FTS S-AFL120 is a 1.2m flail mower that brings its own engine to the job. Hook it to a quad or 4x4 on the standard 50 mm ball hitch, fire it up, and tow it across the paddock at walking pace. No tractor required.

Independent petrol power

The 15 HP Loncin runs the mower on its own, so any tow vehicle with a ball hitch will pull it. Electric start is there for convenience; the pull start covers you when the battery is flat. Honest limitation worth stating: this mower is for maintained, fairly level grass — not overgrown ground, scrub, or weeds. For that, look at our tractor-mounted flails.

Cut height and turning

Cutting height adjusts from 3-10 cm by repositioning the wheels and linkage — drop it for a tight finish, raise it for topping. The wheels can run behind the mower or in line with it; the in-line setup tightens the turning circle in awkward corners and around obstacles.
